Cabaret Theatre

From EisenWiki

(Redirected from Traditional theater scene)

Definition #1: A homely building on the Douglass Campus behind that dining hall nobody ever goes to.

Definition #2: The traditional "theatre" scene. They are considered rivals by many CAP members. Some few have also characterized them as a Farm Colony in recent years. The rivalry is born of old hatred and bitterness, and a general characterization of Cabaret as a traditional college theater, something that CAP eschews in favor of a low-pressure, low-maintenance view of "theater".*

The CAP-Cabaret Rivalry is one of the Great Traditions of CAP, and its harmless nature has served as equal parts motivation and entertainment.
