D. E. Kucera
David Edward Kucera's soft, sensual landscapes and life studies reflect
his interest portraying a natural realism through detailed use of light
and color. The artist began his study of art early, in a small Nebraska
farming community. He trained, at first, as a musician, a guitarist,
but later returned to his love of fine art and graduated from the
Colorado Institute of Art. His thoughtful studies have a mystical
quality about them, as he presents to the viewer his interpretation
of the scene he has composed. He works in all mediums and is constantly
exploring, through fieldwork and study, new avenues of expression for
his art.
